Operating from our own private moorings in the heart of historical Bath, The Penny Lane will take you on a wondrous cruise along the River Avon. We start each cruise sailing up to Pulteney Weir where our pilots will U-turn the boat to start your journey.

All cruises travel downstream and out of the city, enjoying many of the sites that make Bath famous, under some extremely low bridges and through the deep river lock at Weston. Once through the lock we continue our way out into the relaxing peace of the countryside. As we allow you to decide your cruise duration the distance covered will vary, so if there is somewhere you would like to see we are happy to help in the planning of your trip to ensure this is achieved.

Of course The Penny Lane is much more than just a river cruiser and you may decide to remain at our moorings or to drop anchor in front of the weir to enjoy the surrounding locations in the heart of Bath.

All private bookings of The Penny Lane must incorporate some style of catering. Please take a look at our online menu package to see the different types of catering we are able to offer.
